The Prairie Inn is the first neighboor pub in Saanichton opening in 1974 before that it had been a Inn with a restaurant . Called the PI for short I found the ambience to be so-so the one nice thing is it has a bunch of different areas to sit so you can always find a quiet spot if you prefer. We had the Appy platter for 17.00 a nice selection of goodies the potato skins were massive and homemade which was a nice change to your typical pub style pre-fab potato skin. The service was prompt and I even noticed the bartender when not busy helping out on the floor as well. There were great beer specials we had pints of granville island pal ale for 3.50
Friday and Saturday night the have a free shuttle service to get you home if you have had a few to many and pocker on sunday evenings. All in all a nice pub .
Service 4/5, Food 3.5/5 , Ambience 3.5/5 , Price 4/5- total score 15/20
